About Me

I am currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of British Columbia. Over the years, I have accumulated extensive experience working on a diverse range of technical projects, spanning mechanical, chemical, and software domains. This site serves as a platform to showcase my projects and offer brief technical insights into each of them.

Go-Kart

  • Engine Construction:
    • Assembled the entire engine using spare parts.
    • Removed the governor to enable higher RPMs.
  • Frame Redesign:
    • Strengthened and enhanced the frame for improved durability.
    • Incorporated aerodynamics design principles for increased efficiency.

Hydroponic Garden

  • Pandemic Grocery Trip Reduction Project:
    • Aimed to minimize grocery trips during the pandemic.
  • Successful Plant Growth:
    • Demonstrated success through rapid plant growth, illustrated in the homepage picture.
  • Learning Outcomes:
    • Studied the mechanisms of pH balancers in the context of plant growth.
    • Utilized fluid dynamics knowledge to create optimal flow conditions for root health.

Maneuverable Quarter Pipe

  • Project Scope:
    • Combined principles of structural engineering and carpentry.
  • Ramp and Manual Pad Integration:
    • Attached the ramp to a manual pad using a set of hinges.
  • Mobility Enhancement:
    • Implemented a wheel-based support configuration for the manual pad.
    • Facilitated easy maneuverability of cumbersome skate features.

1986 Toyota Pickup

  • Ongoing Project:
    • Evolving through numerous incremental efforts.
  • Mechanical Upgrades:
    • Rebuilt the top end of the motor with a higher-quality head and head gasket.
    • Replaced spider gears in the differential for optimal performance.
    • Fabricated aluminum inserts to reinforce the bed.
  • Custom Sound System:
    • Wired a bespoke sound system featuring an amp, speakers, and subs.
    • Mounted the system within a fully customized plywood enclosure tailored to the vehicle.
